Just think of all they could accomplish if they stopped all that negative activity. If it's so foolish to be a Christian, why give us so much attention? Goodness Gracious.

Don't let them get to you,Marji. On the upside,I don't see Jesus worrying over those guys. Remember,there's only one verse in the Bible on atheism: "The fool hath said in his heart There is no God". Don't sweat it,Marji. You get on with the stuff that matters.

it is a closed mind-just like they accuse you of having. if you had no personal investment in convincing someone that you are right, you wouldn't care what they believed in as long as it somehow improved their lives. i am so glad my christian friends benefit from their beliefs! i do think it is a good idea to leave judgments for someone else (i say god but in any case, not me or them) =)

Hi, I'm a non-Christian and actually have no religious beliefs. Rarely do I talk about God and religion in general on EP or in my "real" life. I guess for some, though, their lack of belief is as important to them as your belief is to you. You get what I'm saying? They must have a really strong desire to sway others not to believe, or whatever, as much as some Christians and other religious groups have a strong motivation to convert the Godless. I say to each their own and lets all try to live in harmony as much as we can! Try not to let it get to you, Marji. I know it must be irritating at times as you have such a strong faith. Hope my two cents helps a little.

You did, somewhat. : ) It's a never ending story. But just as all non believers aren't "Devil worshipers or black magic witches"....all people of faith are not trying to recruit, nor are we all bible bashers. My faith is strong simply because I have been shown better than told that this is the way for me. I have many friends from many beliefs, not one will say "That Marji, always trying to change how I see". Not a stranger can profess such a thing either. And because I believe that it was the Angels for God, and Jesus who have brought me through my past, kept me alive even though I should have been dead many times over, even while I cursed God!.... I get called all kinds of ugly things, and when I fight back I get called on my "Christianity" ! I don't believe myself to be perfect, I am NOT with out sin. But here I am, I believe that I am blessed any way.......
